Obasanjo: “We’re Not Done Yet” – A Call to Nigerian Leaders
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo has asserted that Nigeria’s leaders have not yet achieved their objectives, highlighting that the nation’s progress remains unfinished.
Obasanjo made the remarks during the public presentation of “Being True to Myself”, the autobiography of former Jigawa State Governor Sule Lamido, at the NAF Conference Centre in Abuja.
In his address, Obasanjo urged Lamido and other leaders not to consider retiring just yet, emphasizing that it is their responsibility to guide Nigeria toward its ultimate goal.
“Nigeria, the country we are working for, is still a work in progress,” Obasanjo said. “It is up to each of us to ensure we reach that destination. Our work is not complete until we are finished.”
The event, which attracted prominent figures in Nigerian politics, continues to generate discussion, with more updates to follow.
