Lagos Reschedules Ogudu-Oworonshoki Bridge Repair and Traffic Diversion Date
The Lagos State Government announced on Friday that the planned traffic diversion for the repair of the Ogudu–Oworonshoki Bridge has been postponed.
In a statement to journalists, the state Commissioner for Transportation, Mr. Oluwaseun Osiyemi, clarified that the new date for the repairs and the corresponding traffic diversion would be shared soon.
Osiyemi assured the public that the state government is committed to minimizing disruptions and ensuring safety during the infrastructure upgrade.
“We sincerely appreciate your patience, understanding, and continued cooperation,” Osiyemi said.
The bridge repair was initially scheduled to start on May 13 and end by September 23, as reported by the News Agency of Nigeria.
